Bask in This Glitter Rain and Live is an uplifting album containing happy hooks, loving narratives, and expensive-sounding tracks that showcase how far Sam has come as his own one-man band. In addition to finding a home to singles like Lemon, “Out of the Closet, and New Year, he weaves a story of finding love after accepting himself and appreciating the joy this love brings to his life.

Bold songwriting and raw production are at the heart of Sam Driborr’s artistry. His catalog is a diary of sorts that gives the listener insight into his experiences and thoughts. He is unafraid to get political in projects like Look Past the Headlines, Gay Panic, and The Most Dangerous People. Sam also loves producing fun pop music. This is evident on his latest release as well as his 2023 album Glow. He started songwriting in 2012. Sam’s 2025 album Here Lie the Rejects (2012-2016) gives the listener a peek at how long Sam has been honing his craft.

Sam Driborr has a BA in Music Production, BA in Vocal Performance, and a Master’s Degree in Music. Being the songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, producer, recording engineer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer on all his songs requires wearing many hats and displaying different skills. His catalog speaks to his education and, more importantly, his discipline at continually creating art. A lot of practicing and love of music went into Sam’s catalog.
